Hi there, I recently added some quickstart instructions to the Flame updating page:

But recently Dave Hunt reported that he was getting no joy when following them. Full flashing the base build worked ok, but shallow flashing didn’t work properly: * Shallow flashing a 2.5 build seemed to work, but resulted in no apps being shown on the homescreen (although access the System app from the pull down tray worked fine.) * Shallow flashing a 2.2 build resulted in a black screen, nothing working at all. I just tried it and confirmed these problems. Is there a bug currently, or is something wrong with my instructions? I an on a Mac, fwiw.
