To know whether your phone is rooted or not. Open Command Prompt ---> Enter "adb devices" ---> See that you device is listed ---> Type "adb shell" ---> If it shows "root" or "#" symbol.Your Phone is rootedI suggest to take the Backup of your Data [OS + Any Files] before you do it.
