Hi all,

I’ve had the following drop into my documentation pile:

B2G RIL: Support for CDMA OTASP - expose ota status -
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=882983

The webidl looks very small, and I get that it is something about querying
phone OTA status and presenting the user with the necessary UI elements so they
can select to update their phone, if an update exists…but I’m not sure.

Could someone in the know give me a few quick answers:

1. Is this worth documenting on MDN? It looks like an internal-only thing to
me, but then again we do document internal/certified APIs when the time
presents itself.

2. I’d like a succinct description of what this API does, and how it works - as
I said above, I’m not sure.

Thanks in advance,
