What final devices ? There is such thing. And yes it will be a "problem
on the dogfood devices". But we are dependant on DRM policies from OEM.
It's not in our hands at all.

The best we can do is work on open source libs for improving quality of
images. Which is far from our mission.

Even with those "limitations" that are not due to B2G but to DRMs,
Camera on the Z3c is far more better than anything we had on a supported
device in the past. We have a lot to work, IMHO, before having to worry
about this ...
