So the problem here is that scanRecord comes from the content page and view is from the Sandbox?
This sounds sorta like bug 1198934. Bobby, would bug 946906 also fix this problem? I don't really understand what's going on with this Bluetooth stuff. We're running into a lot of issues with Xrays and WebExtensions though. I don't think we should turn them off since that would cause all sorts of other compat issues (expandoes exposed to web pages) as well as security concerns.
