Oh, I also forgot to mention - new home screen is a privileged app.
Hopefully the first of many. It is a good example of what's possible with
third party applications, and barring the inconvenience of having to
extract dependencies from the Gaia tree, could easily be forked as a base
to develop your own home-screen and distribute said home-screen on the
Firefox Marketplace.

If you have particular tastes or requirements that aren't catered for, I'd
encourage you to take a look at the code-base and see if it helps you
scratch your itch!
