Hi, We are about to remove the app-manager from Firefox (bug 1007061). We shipped WebIDE for more than a year now and has been improved based on many feedback from Gaia developers. This is now time to remove this significant and unmaintained piece of code from Firefox desktop.
Also note the upcoming project "about:debugging", that recently appeared in Firefox. Today, it only allows debugging local workers and addons, but it will soon allow you to debug devices with theirs tabs and apps. More information in bug 1212802. ++ Alex
