Hi FxOS Devs,
I'm wondering if you can help provide some ideas for a possible FxOS 2.5
(b2Ggdroid) ad campaign we're developing. We have two concepts that we
would like to get your ideas and suggestion.
Timing: Nov 3-4 for both ideas.
Our launch date is Nov 10. We have final ad review Friday, November 6
The first idea idea is Code snippet
- Concept is to highlight conceptual differences between developing for
Android and the open Web - FFOS
- Need is to highlight 2-3 commands that developers would immediately
recognize and understand there is a difference offered by FFOS
- Example: </location_tracking>
- *Ask*: can we provide the agency with 2-3 examples of this kind of
code snippet we can use in an ad?
- Who: Patrick/Fabrice/devs-fxos?
The second concept is Testimonial
- Concept is to use actual FFOS developer quotes highlighting the
benefit of developing for the open Web.
- Need: 4-5 FFOS developer quotes we can use in an ad
- Example ad: "Knowing CSS and HTML allow me to help build the next
OS" Arcadio, Front-End Developer, Brazil
- *Ask*: can we ping the community to see if we can get 4-5 developers
that we trust that we can feature in an ad as in the example above?
