Indeed that sounds awesome. BUT! What the OS needs right now is performance! I am using the Flame as a daily driver and it's good when it's used for single tasking, don't get me wrong! You surf the web or write an email...all fine. But when you try to do more things in parallel, it's then when the thing breaks down!
I am always amazed by how smooth the Nexus 5 running Android 6 is. It's like it's coming from a very far future. I know that the hardware plays a big role and the Nexus 5 has more horse power, but the Flame is a dual core. But it looks like it's not enough to provide a pleasant user experience. I wonder how a less geeky person would react when trying to use Firefox OS and get confronted with the lag. Listen to a song and try to write something in Telegram app. Then do the same with Android...it's night and day! Things like this, actual use case scenarios should be optimized! It's the same with Google+. We don't have a native app, but we have to use the mobile site which is a very slow experience. It's better than nothing, but I wonder if the issue is the OS or the phone hardware. Maybe the specs need to be raised and propose a quad-core.
