One of the most annoying things with the new homescreen is moving icons: I
dare you to pick up one app and move its icon 3 screens up and drop it
exactly where you want it. The screen jumps like crazy when you reach the
upper border and you miss your target. I have to do this in 3-4 steps until
I find my desired location where to drop it.

Also each time you close an app, the entire homescreen redraws..I opened
this bug for it *Bug 1224268*
<https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1224268> - The new homescreen
always redraws when closing an app
