All versions of Firefox OS support IndexedDB, but according to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Storage_Inspector only Firefox 34 and higher support the Storage Inspector that is part of the developer tools. According to https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/B2G_Landing Firefox 34 corresponds to Firefox OS v2.1. I would probably stick with v2.5 for now, and if you could file a bug under https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?component=Simulator&product=Firefox OS that describes what you're seeing with the v2.6 simulator, that will help us address it.
