due to the lack of effort and resources in general, I agree, a
concerted effort is the best thing. Due to this a Mozilla 'brand' may
help

agree on this too, the community should drive the development, not oem
or carriers... breaking iOS/android consumer market it's very hard...
but a good 'hacker' smartphone system, which carry on innovation and
new ideas is a good thing IMHO. IoT is an almost open market where
Mozilla can find a better place, so put most of effort here is a good
thing too.
