Hi,
Since FxOS relies upon AOSP kernel/drivers and since the quadRooter
vulnerability [1] requires updated drivers by Qualcomm to be fixed, I was
wondering (i) if FxOS is affected and (ii) how such a situation is then handled
within FxOS ecosystem?
Now that FxOS development for phones has been transitionned to the community,
how can we get updated drivers from Qualcomm without help of phone
manufacturers nor carriers? Is it sufficient to just get the fixed drivers from
a matching Android device (with the hope that such a device actually exists)?
Aren't these Qualcomm drivers customized by phone manufacturers?
