Hi, We got some request about subscription for newsletters (see the comments in bug entry https://bugs.oxid-esales.com/view.php?id=975):
The possible solutions how to solve the case would be: 1. Disable manual subscription for newsletters everywhere in shop, and always do Double-Opt in for subscription. Means - user will need to confirm the subscription always. 2. Leave it as it is, because this "manual subsription" can be simply disabled by small changes in templates, so everyone, who wants Double-Opt in - can change it. We would like to get some feadback about what solution would be more logical from business view.
