Hello,
informing about shop setup changes in next release:
* first page (system requirements check) checks if standard shop paths
(http://www.oxidforge.org/wiki/Tutorials/filesystem_permissions) are
readable and writable by PHP;
* updates ".htaccess" file by writing correct "RewriteBase" path value;
* during install process asks to enter administrator login and password
(if you plan to use demoshop
"admin/admin" login to shop front-end will still work).
