The same script (with latin1 coding) can be used also for UTF-8 eShops - it
works and does not harm anything.

Beware of the following fact:
The file from OXID exchange has latin1 coding.
Maybe it should be stated somewhere, so if you import it via mysql e.g.
you might have to change the encoding.
Or OXID supplies seperate files for latin and utf-8 coding.

Hi,
In eShop version 4.3.1 the list of Countries has been updated in OXID
eShop demodata. Mostly changes did for names of Countries in English and
German, also some fixes for ISO codes.
As this list can be already customized in particular shops - these
changes were not included into Patch package to running automatically.
But if you would like to update list of Countries in your eShop also -
just run on your eShop DB the script, which is uploaded to OXID eXchange
here:

Also in eShop demodata we removed the country "Republic of Tatarstan"
from our demo data, because this is some autonomous region, one of
federal subjects in Russia. Removing of this entry is not included in
this script of updating Countries. So if you want to remove it from your
shop - please do this manualy directly from DB.
In case if there will be more changes in list of Countries - new script
for updating the list will be prepared.
