I forgot the reason for my mail.

There is a romour, that the backend will be refactored. 
So it save a lot of time for developing (*1) and gives a better userexperiance 
if you can edit all languages in one step to use only utf8 and send iso to 
stone age.

... and I don't know a good converter only this

So, if you use a exotic encoding (not 8859), youll have problems with the 
actual solution.

(*1) ...for third party developers, too
