Hi,

OXID eShop itself runs properly on PHP 5.3, when source code is not encoded (i.e. Community Edition works on PHP 5.3). But there are still no final version of Zend Guard (tool for encoding) and Zend Guard loader (which will replace Zend Optimizer) for PHP 5.3.+, what is a blocker for preparing eShop source code for PHP 5.3.+.

Best regards,
Dainius Bigelis

Hi Dainius,

Does OXID (and therefore Zend Optimizer) now support PHP 5.3.+, or are we still
supposed to stick with PHP 5.2.+ ?

Thanks
cpj

Subject: [oxid-dev-general] MySQL version 5.0.41 excluded from system
requirements

Hi,

While debuging on the bug https://bugs.oxid-esales.com/view.php?id=1811, we
found that the reason is the issue in MySQL version 5.0.41
(http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=54391). It exists only in this particular
MySQL version.

Due to this, we excluded MySQL version 5.0.41 from system requirements for OXID
eShop as not matching.
If your shop runs on MySQL version 5.0.41 - please update it to the newer MySQL
version.

Best regards,
Dainius Bigelis
