xdebug is incompatible with zend optimizer. Deactivate xdebug and you
are fine.
btw i hate this incompability ;) xdebug is extremely useful.

i have a white explorer-sreen (i hate it *g*) after install some
PHP-packeges but the problem is only the EE, the CE-Version works fine.
i have new install PHP-Pear, xDebug and Zendframework under Linux (Ubuntu).
when i look into phpinfo() Zendoptimizer is available.
when i execute the index.php with php-cli i become "Segmentation fault"
can everybody help me?
