#1: skip "negative" discounts >From a BA point of view, a negative discount supposed to be surcharge. I vote for skipping _all_ discounts for assigned item, negative and positive as I cannot see a practicle use for only skipping the surcharges. Pls. ACK or point your objections. #2: As turned out in the forums, a "discount on payment method" has nothing to do with the discount on articles. "Discount on payment method" is actually intended to be a surcharge if you, for example pay with credit card. Skonto has nothing to do with it either and will be removed from the standard installation. But, by investigating this, we found few more ambiguous places, which would be good to clarify. At first: 1. In the option name there is a word "negative" ("Skip all negative Discounts"). Option is created with purpose to ignore all discounts for selected product. And it works like this up until now (or until 4.4.1): ignores all the discounts, without matter is it negative or positive. So probably, here best way would be to remove the word "negative" from the title and descriptions, or even make it more precise, i.e.: - "Skip all Discounts and Surcharges for product". Does somebody expects some other behavior from this option? Or maybe we should make difference between positive and negative amounts (I.e. skip only surcharges, or only discounts) ? 2. The scope of the option: - up until bug #2042 occurred, this option affected all discounts and surcharges, related to the product. Discounts of Payment Methods (which calculated from product prices) also were affected. Is it OK? or you think, that Payment Methods should not be related to this option, and be calculated always (would mean that #2042 is not a bug)?
