The only thing what you'll need to do - just to put them in new directory structure and change the names of some templates. The detailed documentation about that will be prepared. Also we are preparing the script which will do this work automatically (create new directory structure, move the templates files and rename it). Actually it's not possible to use template from former version 4.4.x. There is a basictheme, but it's separated into some smaller templates/snippets and put in sub-folders. The path in the views and other coreclasses are hardcoded to "page/details/details.tpl", before it was like "details.tpl". >From our point of view it is not possible to use the templates from version >before 4.5. But this weekend in Weilburg and last month in Frankfurt we got other information that we can use templates of curent versions. We received assurances that templates from 4.4.x can be used in all 4.x versions (4.5, 4.6, ...). We know that some calls und methods in the new templates are removed or replaced with some new. So it's necessary to change some templates for an update. This is okay. But currently it's necessary to change all templates for an update, replace some methods, and separate the templates in smaller templates and put them in different folders. This require much more work. Our customers will not be very thankful if we have to offer them a expensive modification of the templates. It's like an template upgrade from oxid 3 to oxid 4. Is there a possibility to use the old templates? Maybe an option in config.inc.php to modify the templatepath? There should be not a problem to switch between "page/details/details.tpl" and "details.tpl". >From my view it's not possible to update a shop to v4.5 without a lot of >template-work.
