You are not necessarily bound to those conditions. You can force a session start on each request by setting $this->blForceSessionStart in the config.inc.php to true.
But I am also looking forward for a reasonable answer to your question :) Mit freundlichen Grüßen Sven Ferber ______________________________________________________________________ SVEN FERBER Junior eCommerce Architect Burda Direkt Services < Solutions GmbH < Hubert-Burda-Platz 2 < 77652 Offenburg Tel +49 721 4808 956 < Fax +49 781 84 30 59 < [email protected] Geschäftsführer: Michael Rohowski, Gerhard Thomas Handelsregister: Amtsgericht Freiburg < HRB 706486 www.burdadirektservices.de <http://www.burdadirektservices.de> Am 17.08.11 13:07 schrieb "Stefan Krenz" unter <[email protected]>: Hi, OXID starts a session only when a special class or function is called or a parameter exists in the request. Classes that cause OXID to start a session: - register (in views/register.php) - account (in views/account.php) Functions that cause OXID to start a session: - tobasket - login_noredirect - tocomparelist Other request parameters that cause OXID to start a session: - _artperpage - listorderby Currently developers are bound to these conditions to start a session and store variables. Because oxsession is NOT overloadable and the configuration variable 'aRequireSessionWithParams' is only used in 'core/oxsession.php'. Why is the session start bound to these conditions?
