Hi Stefan, if one would follow this paradigm, oxid would need to consist of 20 times more files than it does I guess ;-) What I meant to say is: there is no technical reason for this.

If you have one class which overwrites the price calculation. And another which overwrites the product (article) picture lookup. For a strict separation of the two functions, it's good to place them in separate files and classes. This is a part of "Separation of Concerns".
