Ok - so there is a convenient and secure possibility included for counters, but
used only for orders? And, of course the next step would be to offer a more
usable way to manipulate those counters. It is very common to define a specific
prefix or suffix for such order- or invoice-counters, as well as a custom start
point. Maybe within admin interface?

hey ray,

Yes, exactly - I´m talking about the counters which are stored into table
oxcounters. I know about the order number, I know as well, that oxuser does not
use oxcounter.
Therefore I wanted to know, if there is an overview about which counters make
use of this function - and which not.
only oxordernr is used in oxcounters.
no invoicenr, no customernr, ...
y? please asked oxid ;-)

By the way, while seeking through the database I found 'oxbillnr' AND
'oxinvoicenr' within table oxorder - what is the difference?
on is the order number, and one the invoice number on pdf ;-)

regards
