Hi Ray,

thank you for your fast reply!

In our case we have hundrets of discounts in our shop.
Currently we solved it about a self developed module which saves the timed
discount in an own table and updates oxarticles by a cronjob when a timed
discount starts and when it ends.

We are uncertain about the performance of discounts due to the option to set
groups, countries etc. Thats much more than we need and more DB-Queries mean
worse performance. All would have to be checked and calculated in time. Do you
have any experience about the performance of using a lot of discounts?

regards,
Benni
