Hi,
As some of you probably already know, I'm the developer/maintainer of
Geoclue2 and we are already using your awesome service for WiFi
geolocation. Since geoip was recently added, I was hoping to port our
geoip code (that currently talks to geoip.fedoraproject.org) to
Mozilla Location Service as well. To be able to do that, I'd need a
way to make pure geoip queries work. I-e queries w/o any WiFi data in
it.
Hanno mentioned that it should be possible using the 'Search' API but
we use 'Geolocate' API and I was wondering:
* If geolocation API support pure geoip queries?
* If it does, whats the syntax? I tried '{"wifiAccessPoints":[]}' and
'{}' but both result in syntax errors.
