Hi Anish, we can always use the help! I would suggest starting small for step 1, for example, getting the SSID BlockList from the web https://github.com/mozilla/MozStumbler/issues/581. I would join #geo on mozilla's irc, if you haven't already. Or start by going through the issue list and pick a topic that interests you, and strike up a discussion about it (either here, or on the issue itself).
