If you just want to try out the API, you can use “test” as the API key. So calls would look like: https://location.services.mozilla.com/v1/geolocate?key=test If you want to use the service on a continued basis, we’d ask you to get in touch with us (or me personally) again, so we can get you a dedicated API key. The main purpose of the API keys is to make sure no one user or app unfairly uses a lot of the service and causes everyone else problems by overloading the service.
