I think (hope) this will get fixed. The high-resolution web map is rendered offline. The MozStumbler maps' points layer is served from a server API that has not been updated to generate the higher resolution layers. Garvan has prototyped a workaround to scale the low-resolution points layer on the client side on to the zoomed map levels.
