My very good friend who lives in Ghana gave me a mandate to source for viable business
opportunities where he and his colleagues can invest some funds. In search for
reasonable and responsible business persons, I came across your details on the
Internet and was inspired to seek your co-operation.
There is no doubt that you may turn down my request after reading this letter because
recently the internet has been dominated by letter scam and fraud, it is now difficult
to identify a genuine transaction. In spite of this, I like to inform you that we have
no ulterior motive whatsoever, reaching out to you to carryout this project. Our aims
and objectives are genuine with the hope to establish a partnership with you. I have
prayed and hope that God will touch your heart and make you realize that this is not a
scam but an opportunity that will change our lives.
In confidence, my friend in question is a customs superintendent attached to the Ghana
Ports and Harbours Authority. While on duty about a month ago, He and two of his
colleagues intercepted a package at the Ghana ports in transit to the United Kingdom.
Their investigations revealed that the package was owned by Some Liberians (suspected
to be aides to the ex-president, Mr. Charles Taylor). The victims immediately withdrew
from the operation since they stood no chance to defend the source of the package,
which was later discovered to be cash and believed to be in excess of USD100M. My
friend and his colleagues refused to disclose the true details of the findings to
their superiors because it will be confiscated.
Under President John Kufuor's government in Ghana, it is illegal for any civil Servant
to indulge in misappropriation and corruption. Such an act is punishable by a prison
sentence in excess of 20 years. Due to this law, their reputation and safety, they
managed to keep the funds in a safe location without any trace to them. (Details of
