How can a full server backup be done, including magnolia
--------------------------------------------------------
Key: MAGNOLIA-2665
URL: http://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MAGNOLIA-2665
Project: Magnolia
Issue Type: Task
Affects Versions: 3.5.8
Environment: Apache 2.2.9 -> [mod_proxy] -> [http connector] -> tomcat
5.5.25 -> [JDBC localhost:3306] -> MySQL 5.0.51
FreeBSD7

Priority: Minor
Hi,
could you please tell us what we have to observe if we backup our server with
the magnolia installation.
I'm not talking about the build in magnolia backup modul from 3.6 which is very
fine, but only holds the content.
What we want is to backup the whole server installation
(apache,tomcat,mysql,magnolia) so if the server crashes
we can restore the whole installation including the content from this backup.
Can we simply copy the whole magnolia installation (db,webapps, e.g.) to our
backup server or is there something
special to observe within the magnolia system?
Thank you in advice
Alex
