Nope, I use the paragraph provided with the module as well with the settings
you suggested (orderByNodeValue was set to @pubDate and
sortDirectionNodeValue), but the same as on our custom paragraph: the newest
entry of your blog is not on top.
It's actually independent of the template, I can print out the result directly
in the class and it's not what it should be. Not as long as I live the "order
by" statement in the class.
