Can't delete a post from the forum module

as superuser, if you click on the forum menu entry, you get a tree of threads
and posts. The context menu allows you to delete a post, but if I try to do so,
I get the message:
"d573c6b6-36fd-4c5f-bb94-1bb75b83eedb: the node cannot be removed because it is
still being referenced"
The node will not be removed (refresh!)
It probably should be possible to delete a post; otherwise the menu option
should be disabled.
