Nice Editor: Tabs should be spaces and not tab character

When using the 'tab' key in the nice editor, tab characters are used.
It would be better if space characters (4 spaces) would be used instead of the
tab.
Especially when pasting some code out of a resource file, the tabs must be
replaced manually.
