Right. Well, this doesn't sound exactly super-promising either (i.e results are vague, and different for each and every version of windows, require various SPs and hotfixes, which is also what we saw), but worth a try. If MS Office installs its own patches or uses its own WebDAV support, well, why not, I have no idea. Since our first targets for the WebDAV module were templates and resources, using Office wasn't really in scope anyway ;) But it might be good for DMS, so that's indeed worth a try. If you look at http://confluence.magnolia-cms.com/display/DEV/WebDAV+support+matrix, you'll probably see we have similar results than what they have. Using an extra app for having proper WebDAV support just made things simpler. And using "WebDrive" for instance, once the drive is mapped, it just "looks" like a normal share in the file explorer, as far as I remember. Well in any case, feel free to experiment and report your findings here; but if you haven't tried our module in a while, I'd recommend you compare against 1.0.1. - and in any case, that doesn't mean we're stubbornly attached to using the Jackrabbit WebDAV implementation. I can already sense that implementing DMS support with our current module will be more tricky, so that might be a good occasion to look into Milton. (although I'm not enthusiastic about digging again into those compatibility issues ;)) Cheers, -g ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
