Calendar is not working for Norwegian language (possibly others)

Trying to render calendar (for setting publication date i.e.) throws JavaScript
error:
weekend is undefined
[Break On This Error] if (weekend.indexOf(realday.toString()) != -1) {
I've done some debugging on my own and it appears that calendar-no.js (and
possibly others as well) is missing this expression:
Calendar._TT["WEEKEND"] = ...;
which at the end causes the error.
