To reproduce:
1. Set an account so that it doesn't have write access to the root "/" of
website repository
2. Using that account, try to export the website repo from the root down
Expected result:
Export fails, user should be presented with an error giving some information
about the problem
Actual result:
The export does indeed fail, but no indication that an error occurred is
displayed. (The error does, however, appear in the log files.)
