Hi Mattias, thanx to Greg the parts I wasn't 100% sure how to answer are gone so let's focus on the application integration part:
there's no plans to support JSR 168 portlets (although there had been for magnolia 3.x) - actually many people stopped using portlets as they are heavy weight and rather complex to develop. When it comes to integrating apps there's a growing number of people relying on OpenSocial (http://www.opensocial.org/) as it is becoming more and more popular (among others used by Google, Xing, LinkedIn, Jira or Blogger). By the end of last year we started to develop a module that provides a OpenSocial container within Magnolia so that you can host OpenSocial Gadgets. It's not yet released but surely worth having a look on it: http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/WIKI/Magnolia+OpenSocial+Container http://dlipp.blogspot.com/2011/03/magnolia-module-opensocial-container-is.html HTH - Dan -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=7c6a3ba6-1ccb-4fac-8a9d-b3f9022cc80b ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
