Santiago Fernandez de Cordoba updated MAGNOLIA-3871:
----------------------------------------------------

     Issue Type: Bug (was: Improvement)
Labels: redirect parameters google analytics sitecatalyst (was:
activation workflow security)
       Priority: Critical (was: Major)
    Description:
We are all the time creating redirects like
http://www.leroymerlin.es/mycampaign , that redirect to other page inside with
a longer URL.

The problem is that if we use the Google Analytics parameters (utm_campaign,
etc...) they get lost when redirecting.

If the redirect looks like this:
http://www.leroymerlin.es/mycampaign

I need to use the parameters, and it looks like:
http://www.leroymerlin.es/mycampaign?utm_campaign=madera&utm_content=banner

But when the redirect redirects to the final URL, the parameters disappear:
http://www.leroymerlin.es/productos/armarios/verdes.html

The desired final URL should be
http://www.leroymerlin.es/productos/armarios/verdes.html?utm_campaign=madera&utm_content=banner

Thanks!

  was:
Now, if you activate something, you are given the option to write a comment and
the activation start date, and deactivation date.

We would like to be able to make mandatory to write the comment.

So when somebody activates content, they are obliged to write something, and it
makes it easier for everybody to understand what is being activated and proceed
with the activation.

Now it does not work if you just add "required = true"

We think it would be a very valuable feature under an editorial point of view.

Thanks

> The redirects lose the parameters and so we cannot track the campaigns with
