Summary: STK upcoming events teaser displays content wrongly encoded

Description:
The upcoming events teaser has an encoding problem in the content. To
reproduce, simply create an "upcoming events" teaser in the extras area. See
attached screenshot.
This is an out of the box EE 4.4.5 installation on OSX.

screenshot. This content is in the event "abstract". The abstracts of the
standard content (e.g. article template) does not have the problem.
