Issue Type: Improvement Improvement
Assignee: Unassigned
Components: page editor, user interaction
Created: 06/Mar/13 2:59 PM
Description:

Currently, when I switch from e.g. a selected component in an area A, which lies above area B, to a component of area B, the editor jumps, since some component bars from area A disappear. That is understandable, but confusing.

It seems possible to remember the relative position of the component bar of area B from the bottom and before it was selected. If I then click on it, the bar would get selected and would remain at the exact same position.

This could get rid of quite significant jumping of the element I'm currently focusing on in case I edit from top to bottom. Since this is a common direction for editing, in particular when adding new pages, the win would be fairly significant.
