We have our images uploaded to the Documents (aka DMS) section in Magnolia. 2. When creating components, we reference images that are stored in the DMS ( done via standard DAM image control). 3. After redeploying the application or a forced server restart, any references document in the Documents section is blown away since that content is stored inside of the exploded war. We ended up having to store images in source control to easily zip up and restore. Is that the expected fucntionality? Is our implementation configured wrong? What is the proper way to handle images since either uploading or referring to documents ends up with documents stored in the exploded war?
