What happens if indexed node is the page itself and such page is the top level page in the website? Such case is not covered by the test.
IMHO if that happens. the node.getParent() call will be returning root node of the repo and followup call to get metadata will fail on the root node. Either fix it or add a test proving that nothing bad happens.
