You write "you can add two components": I guess you mean adding them to a page, right? Or is there a way to add a certain amount of components to a container component? Because that would solve my issue! Regarding your question about maxComponents: You are right, that'd be hard to communicate. When I read about nested components I was thinking of a container component consisting of certain subcomponents. But Magnolia's nested components are basically always list (right?).
