Description:
|
In 5.0.2: all dropdowns/combos are 100% including those with "small" values. That seems to be better than "too small for long values".
In 5.1, we introduce the possibility to configure this better, and with a more consistent mechanism (to be determined), such that neither long or small fields look stupid; and such that one can balance the width of fields inside a CompositeField
- This should be thought out in a vaadin-agnostic way if possible
- Such width/expandRatio configuration mechanism is also currently used in workbench column definitions
Concept + review are needed first
