Hey i had a very
[11:31:57] Adrien: Currently, if any code tries to access/write data without the relevant permission given to the currently logged in user (or anonymous if you're not logged in), no error is shown in the log file!
I believe this is an extremely
common
issue coming up to many developers, whether new to Magnolia CMS or advanced. I had this
problem
today
several times in the past few months, on new projects as well as on existing ones
.
Lately
I worked on a migration
... After migrate it
, after migrating I
tested a page
.
&
I
saw that
could not see
some
of the
data
are not displayed
. I
looked at my logs and there was no message that the anonymous user has no access
had
to
go through, checking
the
location of the
data
module. I expect that i am not
imported, checking
the
only one that has
data itself (export), modifying the template script, & so on, until I found out it simply was
a
problem with that
permission issue
.
I took 2
It can take a couple of
hours to
get this stupid problem
fix/understand
,
because in my migration i don't thought about
as
it
is so easy to forget about this possibility
.
It would be a great improvement if someone has a look at it.
