Description:

In order to have common actions, columns and fields, we need to have some sort of a 'standardized' item adapters which we can use in new DAM INTEGRATIONS. This will enable us to reuse actions, fields, columns and some other stuff.
Without jcr-free item adapters, its imho most likely that every new integration will use some other pattern in order to deal with actions, columns and fields thus maintenance of such integrations will be cumbersome.
