Change By: Federico Grilli (02/Dec/14 5:44 PM)
Comment: The fix seems to work only if one first does something on the UI, e.g. collapse a node in the tree, then the notification is actually displayed and a message sent to pulse. What I tried was to unpublish and publish incl. subpages the whole demo-project on a CE instance. In the logs I can see a bunch of messages elated to activation like
{code}
2014-12-02 17:17:01,386 INFO  info.magnolia.module.activation.ReceiveFilter     : User superuser successfuly activated bar on magnoliaPublic.
2014-12-02 17:17:01,403 INFO  info.magnolia.module.activation.BaseSyndicatorImpl: Exchange: activation succeeded [/demo-project/foo/bar]
{code}
and finally
{code}
2014-12-02 17:17:01,403 INFO  info.magnolia.module.scheduler.CommandJob         : Job executed successfully [UI Action triggered execution of [website:activate] by user [superuser]. (1)]
{code}
But then nothing happens unless one somehow "wakes up" the UI.
