Currently content apps (and pages app in particular) don't provide information on creation date etc. to editors. This is a very basic requirement for teams working on the same content ("who created this page?", "who modified that page I created?")
The only way of finding out is to export the nodes as XML and go looking for mgnl:createdBy tags etc., nothing you can expect from an average content editor.
How about a little panel in the bottom right corner that provides these details, similar to the "Preview" panel in the DAM?
