Andreas Weder updated an issue   Magnolia UI / MGNLUI-3135 Can't properly abort move of component in page editor under some circumstances Change By: Andreas Weder Isa [~isadubach]  has shown me that she *can't abort the move operation on the corporate website in some browsers*. She starts by selecting the component edit bar, then clicking on the move icon. This causes the bar to attach to the mouse pointer. Normally, you would now be able to click anywhere on  Isa solves this by reloading  the  background or hit ESC  page  in order to abort the  operation  "move" .  However I've verified this with a set of recent browsers and have updated the findings accordingly. The c*urrent status with 5.4.1 is that clicking on the background seems to work in all browsers I've tested ,  while ESC only works  in  her case  Firefox*. In OS X 10.10.5 (14F27) ,  she  tested with MTE /travel/about page: * can - Safari 8.0.8: clicking on bkgr works, ESC doesn 't  do either in Chrome  work. * can only hit - Firefox 40.0.3:  ESC , but not  and  click on  the background in Firefox  bkgr works Isa reacts by reloading the On Windows 10 (11.31193.0), tested with MTE /travel/about  page  in order to abort the "move" : - Internet Explorer 11 . 0.22: Clicking on bkgr works, ESC doesn't work. - Microsoft Edge 20.10240: Clicking on bkgr works, ESC doesn't work.
